Dérive began as a project and evolved into a design studio founded by Adam Skotarczak and Jan Glinski - two friends from Szczecin, Poland. Their work blends their diverse interests and visions. Adam seeks to break the repetitive and robotic nature of 3D printing by exploring organic shapes and introducing unpredictability into the process, while Jan focuses on developing modular stainless steel systems in multiple sizes. The system, named AXI3, serves as a versatile core for their projects. Together, they create minimalistic, honest and functional objects designed to suit both public and domestic spaces.
