The Amsterdam-based artist manifests her introspective journey into clay sculptures and objects. Fusing bold, geometric and abstract forms with experimental glazes and sometimes the use of materials such as fabric, rope or metal, May Liok's creations feel both playful and completely abstract.

Her approach is artisanal, intuitive, but also very playful, resulting in a limited series of handmade one-off ceramics. She also makes work on demand and her terra cotta collection is available in continuous series.
